Two #1's in only 2 weeks! - August 18, 2010
Long been regarded as one of Australia's finest writer's, Tamara Stewart has managed to top the charts twice in the space of only weeks!
Two of Tamara's songs, recorded by two lovely ladies, took it all the way to Number 1 in May/June this year.
The first to take top spot, was BRAVE, an uplifting track about moving on and being bold enough to 'step into the new chapter'. Co-written in Nashville with Jenny Madison, BRAVE was always destined to find it's way onto a special album. Tracy Kileen, the multi award winning singer, released it as her first single off her 2nd album in May this year.
The second to go all the way- is MR YESTERDAY, an edgy gutsy song about walking away from Mr Wrong. Victoria Baillie, this years Golden Guitar Winner for Best New Talent, recorded the track, and the clip hit #1 position on Country Music Televisions Chart. Tamara co-write the song with Multi award winning songstress Melinda Schneider.
Currently in Nashville throughout August, writing for her 4th album, Tamara will no doubt bring home a few extra that will make their way onto fellow Aussie artists albums!
